Fault codes P0500–P0599

P05xx codes mainly cover: battery, charging and glow plugs, idle and throttle, cooling. Our list has 100 codes in this range. 5 of them mean you shouldn't keep driving. Repairs cost roughly €30–1500, depending on the fault. The most common are P0500, P0501, P0505. Based on AI combined with our hands-on workshop experience and knowledge.
